What is Picaphone?
Picaphone is a global address book of people and businesses. On Picaphone you will be able to find the phone numbers, email addresses and physical addresses of people and businesses all around the world.
Why should I join?
Anyone can search Picaphone and get all the information they need without registering. However, as a registered member you can also:
- Create your own private or business listing that lasts forever
- Keep all your contacts up-to-date with our special sync mechanism
- Send other members FREE text, audio and video messages without installing any software
- Share your contacts, preferences and favorite listings (coming soon)
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Picaphone is free for both private and business users
What is the sync process?
Picaphone constantly checks and makes sure your contacts are be up-to-date, and lets you know whether your contacts have changed their phone numbers or emails. You can accept these changes and overwrite the old information, or retain the old information. It's your choice. This only refers to other Picaphone members, so make sure you invite all your contacts to join!
How do I import my contacts to Picaphone?
Well, we really put a lot of effort into that! From the "Import Friends" page, you can choose to import your friends from your web mail account (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail and more), Outlook or a CSV file. You can also invite your social network friends, or use your unique affiliate code anywhere you please.
How do I change my login email?
You may change your login email from the "My Settings" tab in your account. Please note that you will have to confirm your new email before this change is reflected in your login information and Picaphone Card.
Private users
Is Picaphone free for private users?
Yes, absolutely.
What kind of information can I include in my private listing?
You will start the registration process by adding the basic details - your name, primary phone and address. After completing your registration, you will be able to continue building your listing from your profile page - add more phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses and IMs, and of course - your photo.
Business
Is Picaphone free for businesses?
Yes, for the moment Picaphone is free for businesses as well.
What are the special benefits that Picaphone has for businesses?
* Picaphone is international and multilingual. This means potential customers from all over the world can find you in their language.
* Our unique high-end messaging features enable customers to contact you via free video, audio and text messages, without installing anything on their computer.
* The Picaphone addressbook lets you keep all of your customer and provider info online, arranged and up to date.>
What kind of information can I include in my business listing?
You will start the registration process by adding the basic details - your business name and your basic branch information. After completing your registration, you will be able to provide information for your complete listing from your profile page. You can add your business logo, slogan, description, additional addresses and phone numbers, opening hours and much more.
Can I add more branches (addresses) later?
Yes. To add more locations, go to the "My Card" tab in your account, and click "Add another location".
